Note: Krizova enjoyed his work with the military, and rarely took time away. He never married, and after the deaths of his parents, his only family was a younger sister whom he hardly knew. Krizova was mere days from retirement from the military when the Czech republic joined the United Earth Alliance and the Armáda České republiky merged into the UEA Armed Forces. Krizova was given the rank of Bombardier (not a promotion, but a shift that Krizova appreciated) and placed in the 31st Company, which was just forming at the time. He decided not to retire right away, and, as the oldest member of the company by far, became a sort of father figure to many of the young men and women who were coming from all over the northern hemisphere to join this new company under the already famous Colonel Hawke.
