Note: Jana Krizova was born in The Czech Republic, the son of a playwright and a nurse. He was an artistic child, and spent most of his teen years honing his craft as an actor, sometime even in his mother’s plays at the local theatre. There he developed an interest in stagecraft, and found that he prefered to work backstage, especially in pyrotechnics. To the surprise of his family, he enrolled in the Armáda České republiky (The Army of the Czech Republic) at 19, and his interest and expertise in explosives was a great help to him. There he rose to the rank of Corporal, and was the star of his Artillery regiment. He never sought further advancement, but did branch his skills, becoming proficient in demolitions and explosives of all kinds.
