Note: Raven’s generation would never really know integration, even after the end of the blockade, it would be very difficult for them to acclimate to the reality of living under the Sol Council as part of Solar society, thus their common moniker: The Lost Generation of Venus. Raven’s parents were colonists, who saw the end of the blockade as a return home, and Raven’s children were raised during reintegration, and saw it as a fresh start, an adventure. Those of Raven’s generation mostly never left the surface, even much later, when there was nothing but their bitterness and fear keeping them rooted to the planet.
