Note: While the 31st company is surely skilled and, in some ways, very lucky, some have posited that their complete success in this mission despite overwhelming odds is due more to a failure on the part of the NWO forces in the area to anticipate the goals of the small squad. Partly, this is due to the NWO’s secretive nature. It’s likely that no one who was stationed in that area even knew about the facility that Hawke and his squad were there to destroy.
