Note: This style of Elevator may seem anachronistic to some readers, but one must consider the economy of Luna at this time. Nearly every structure was made of stone and concrete, as these were abundantly available, but the metals mining industry on Luna was essentially non-existent with the exception of a few major Titanium mines, and importing metals was very expensive. Thus any steelworks were sparse, and there was a focus on building quality, functioning machines which required as little metal as possible. A cage-style elevator with a hinged, plastic door would not have been out of place, even in a luxury hotel.
