Note: Citizens caught up by the AST were often not seen for months or years, and some were never seen again by those they cared about back home. At the time it was mostly a mystery what was going on at the DoPS. Everything they were doing was technically within the scope of the laws handed down by the Sol legislature, but when their activities came fully to light many years later, their actions were deemed “genocide”, and the leaders were disgraced.
