Note: After the attack on Venus by a violent faction of the Anti-Terraforming and Planetary Habitation League using improvised Super-Nitrate bombs a few years earlier, the possession of SNs or the equipment used to make them was outlawed on Mars, where the ATaPH League was a loud and persistent voice of dissension. However, the compound was so useful in land-based agriculture that a black market for farmers and gardeners quickly sprang up, and was silently ignored by the police, who also liked eating food.
