Note: Despite the popular misconception that Captain Farrad Lee of the Jovian Orbit Guard is the great uncle of Chairman Farrad Lee of the Sol Council, there is no known familial relationship. The name similarity is a coincidence. In fact, Captain Lee died with no children, and had only one sibling, a sister who changed her name to Lee-Winters upon marriage. He did have a great nephew of some importance, though, which may have led to the confusion. His sister’s grandson, Captain George Lee-Winters (though a commander at the time) served under Admiral Kate Tria on the SDFS Mercury in the lead up to the Menace War, and was given command of the SDFS Mercury B after the Mercury was destroyed.
