Note: Fred Portsmouth was the most junior agent in the Luna City office of the UEA Secret Service. He had been born in the Manhattan Arcology on Earth, but immigrated to Luna City as a small child when his mother, a UEA diplomat was assigned to be the special liaison to the newly formed Nation of Luna. He grew up as a darling of the UEA embassy in the heart of the city, and transitioned naturally to the diplomatic corps after a brief time on Mars to attend University. Being a resident of Luna who had never known Earth, but had retained UEA citizenship, he was a natural fit for the Secret Service, though he had little ambition and never sought advancement. He was partnered up with Jane Yancy soon after her arrival, and they became lovers not long after that.
