Note: At this time, Influenza was already mostly eradicated. There were still some cases of the flu in the poorer arcologies on Earth, and a very rare break out on Luna, but a young woman on Mars in this era would have been unlikely to have ever met anyone who had ever had the flu. But of course it did not disappear from the language.
