Note: History has shown that no pedagogical or social system will stop teenagers from being petty to one another. Even when the world is in shambles, and the teenagers are the front line in a war against unreasonable adults in a post-apocalyptic hellscape, they will still form cliques, and they will find something over which to divide themselves into hips and squares. Certainly, a bit of fear-fueled government oppression isn’t going to stop them.
